News Anchor at news desk. "Early this morning the notorious Bloodhawk Gang was arrested by the Seattle PD. This troublesome gang was found hanging upside down from the lamp posts of their turf. Authorities still have no leads on what exactly happened. And now to Dennis with the Sports, Dennis?" |

Sports anchor at his desk. "As the Seattle Slashers head to the locker room for halftime, we are left stunned and amazed. Star player Ed 'The Tank' Po, has just set two XSL records. The first is for his size, he has managed to gain over 100 pounds in the last week bringing his girth up to a mamouth 1500 pounds. The second is for managing to score while carrying five defenders in to the goal. Back to you Gil." |

"For the past eight months organized crime has been waging an open and hostile war caused by the sudden vacancy of power when Johnny the Rose was assinated. Since then there has been a constant war between the families and other organizations trying to grab a piece of the action." |

"To make matters worse, two months ago the collapse of the Solor Corporation has left a vacuum of power in the corporate world. A void that many major and struggling corporations have begun to fight over. A fight that has become phyiscally violent with the recent explosion at the Sokitome Building." |

Inside the mecca, from the viewpoint of just over the people's heads with the Mayor and entorage on the stage. The Mayor is at the podium. "Today, the crime stops. Crime Lords and CEO's alike beware for you have pushed the people of this fair city too far. Tonight, the war ends. Along with the SPD we have launched the First Strike Initiative that will..." |

With the armed men on the sides the Renascence stand underneath an open skylight. Bastion floating in the middle, DragonFist standing and Vapor crouching on his right, Morning Star standing and Gone crouching on his left. Basion: "I hope you have deep pockets, cause it's time for evil to pay." Evil: "Kill 'em" |

Vapor racing at a vilian, as seen through the scope. Vapor sidestepping the bullet and laying into the guy. |

Morning Star charges at two of the villians. Bullets bouncing off of him as he crushes them with his maul. |

Gone vanishes in a puff of smoke and reappears behind a villian. Flash of blade, spray of blood. Launches a shuriken through one of the ropes. |

DragonFist blocks bullets with a green magic-energy shield. Unleashes a lightning bolt into the two firing at him. |

Bastion still floating with energy flowing from his eyes and hand extended:

Outside the mecca with Tom Thomas. As he continues his live report. (Shadows can be seen jumping off of the side roof of the Mecca in the background.) "This is Tom Thomas coming to you live from the Mayor's War on Crime speech was halted by gunfire from the rafters." |

Live report continues... "The first report states that eight men attempted to assinate the mayor during her speech, but were mysteriously stopped. No one knows for certain, but speculation says that this is the weapon the mayor was refering to in her speech." |

Sports commentator behind his desk. "No one could heve predicted the outcome of this game. As the Slasher's went into the final quarter the Tank was on track to set yet another XSL scoring record." |

Sports commentator behind his desk. "With two minutes left and only a score away the Tank collapsed and was pronounced dead a few minutes later. Doctors are investigatinf the cause now and should know by morning." |
